For me in M1 it was Pfhoraphobia - I guess if I were willing to take the time to make vid films, it would be no big deal, but the lack of a pattern buffer and the difficulty of the level makes it an exasperating experience, and the first PB on Ain't Got Time Pfhor This is a long way off, too.

In M2, I found the rising and falling water levels in Bob's Big Date more annoying than anything, but my least favorite level is God Will Sort the Dead. I know the Spoiler Guide says that if you don't like this level, you shouldn't be playing Marathon, but it just doesn't do anything for me. It doesn't fit the story - you're supposed to sort out the simulacrums, but the only way to do so is to shoot them or let them explode in your face, so you end up shooting everybody. It just seems pointless. Still, there really aren't any levels in M2 that I would consider bad levels - it's still my favorite game overall.

Converted Church can be annoying, at least until you find the secret switch that bypasses all the others, but overall I still like the level. It has a lot of exploration, and I like exploration. There are also multiple approaches to escape at the end, and I like that as well. My least favorite in Infinity wold probably be WaMiD for the reasons already cited. Next on the list would probably be Acme Station, even though I basically like it, it's still frustrating after all these years.

Funny, but I consider the dream levels in Excalibur to be the best dream levels in any scenario, period. I've stated that numerous times in the Forum. The dream levels in EMR are logically sequenced, designed to build the player's skills, tightly integrated with the plot, visually stunning and just plain cool. There's nothing about them that I consider bad or particularly difficult. If we're talking about all 3rd party scenarios, there are just too many horribly designed levels out there to choose from, I'm not sure where to start :P
