Pathways into Darkness Characters Script

I tried to use Shapes Maps and Character Script applications included in file "PIDCode.sit" on my old Quadra 700 (Running MacOS 8.1), but the apps doesn't start. I've got a error - this application cannot run on this type of Mac or is corrupt. Can I launch it on my Quadra?
