: Grasshopper and I have been playing through coop (only on Heroic, as we are
: Old Men), and the fact that I'm posting this at 4:38 AM on a weekday is a
: testament to how much fun the game is.
: I wanted to hate it because of all of the hype that was clearly purchased by
: MS marketing money, and because of all of the obnoxioous celebrity tie-ins
: (for God's sake, get Steve Vai off of the soundtrack). But I can't. It's
: too much fun.
: I hate a lot of the sounds and a lot of the new (non-Marty, or Marty plus
: some lame band) music, and I have to say that a few of the plot twists I
: saw coming from miles away, but the gameplay is really amazingly fun.
: Almost makes me want to buy an Xbox. And a TV.
Did you start playing Co-op right off the bat? Because I only learned today that you skip the game's intro If you start in Co-op, and you miss out on a lot of the game's set up. Also your roomate will most likely accidentally hit the start button in the middle of a cutscene, and then you'll have to find a place to bury his savagely beaten corpse, but you're in North jersey where everything is rocky, and you'll probably need a pick axe. So anyway I don't recomend Co-op until you've played through the game once, or you have a nice hole already dug somewhere in the deep woods.
