Grasshopper and I have been playing through coop (only on Heroic, as we are Old Men), and the fact that I'm posting this at 4:38 AM on a weekday is a testament to how much fun the game is.
I wanted to hate it because of all of the hype that was clearly purchased by MS marketing money, and because of all of the obnoxioous celebrity tie-ins (for God's sake, get Steve Vai off of the soundtrack). But I can't. It's too much fun.
I hate a lot of the sounds and a lot of the new (non-Marty, or Marty plus some lame band) music, and I have to say that a few of the plot twists I saw coming from miles away, but the gameplay is really amazingly fun.
Almost makes me want to buy an Xbox. And a TV.
