The A1 Music collection sounds familliar, but I don't have it... any idea as to it's location?

Oh, and btw., as an example of the awesomeness of usage of metal in game remixes, I strongly suggest you check out www.metroidmetal.com.

Truely some outstanding work there. Of course, it's kind of the other extreme to what you're doing, and just metal wouldn't work with Marathon.

Tough for it to work, but when it does... woah.
