I believe there are some remixes available by someone using the alias 'Tobacco'. They are part of something called the Marathon A1 Music Pack.... some of his tracks make extensive use of heavy metal guitar. It wasn't really to my taste, but if I can find a way to use it in a fairly subtle way I think it could be effective. In further revisions of the song I will certainly test out that idea! Thanks!

Thank you for the input, those are good things to try. I'm planning on (in the somewhat distant future) revising all of the remakes and getting everything exactly how I want it and this would be something to try out. I'm sure some listeners can tell that there are some mixing issues on several of the tracks and these are the bulk of what I'd like to address but musically there may be some things that could use reworking.
