You've hit on one very important point - an achilles heal that is easily forgotten once you've played through the scenario and figured everything out. The dream levels were exceptionally graphic and intrigueing (sp?), but to exit them you had to wake up. This may sound simple, but finding the correct path to consciousness was not a trivial exercise and some of the puzzles involved were among the most perplexing of any scenario. To me the ideal dream level would be as surreal - that's it - that's the word that best describes the EMR dream levels - but a little less enigmatic.
