I'll have to check if it speaks the other, more mundane, death messages; I didn't notice it announcing them earlier, but there's a ten second pause before Text-to-Speech launches, and I usually immediately hit return to restore.
Later: yes, it does: "Blast; you have been cooked by a nightmare..."
