Using Windows Calculator, 64x64 WU is 90.51 diagonal, which is 725 Dark Forces Units. The official limit for is 200 DFU for DOS DF and 500 DFU for Mac DF, but I know DOS version has been stretched to 500, and it's been determined that the limit is much higher for 3DO scenery than for regular level geometry.
The point is, it's a long view, but not G4 long.
