Still.. it's kinda weird that the moms always restrict our computer usage, it's not actually good for us. Because you can't imagine what i have learned by using a computer. I wouldn't speak english as well as i do if i wouldn't use a computer or the internet. When i was a kid (well.. younger than i am now) i remember that she wasn't restricting my computer usage cause it was better for my studies, but because she was punishing me for something i did. So this is kinda of a punishment. Now restricting computer games on the other hand is better. Still you learn a lot from computer games but not much thou. Only thing i have learned a lot about are the world wars after playing many of those army games like Call of Duty, MOHAA and so on... hehe.
probably the best way to stop your mom from restricting your computer usage is to buy your own computer.. sometimes it won't work but it worked for me. :-)
btw.. i have already started talking a lot so why stop.. i was wondering (off topic but marathon related) the current aleph one version is very slow at loading 3rd party levels (and bungie levels too i think, not sure thou) and it always appears as black screen in the beginning for some time. Now this has been like this in last few builds, at least for me. Is this just me or did the developers fuck something up? Is this something i can fix? because this is really annoying, especially when playing over the net.
