For my money the hunters are the only monsters whose M1 incarnations I clearly prefer. The M2 Compiler is more interesting to me (if less iconic). The M1 Trooper looks pretty asstacular and the Pfhor fighters have that whole eyeball location problem. The Enforcer is a toughy. The M2 version looks like a Star Trek alien: just a guy in a dress with a funny forehead. The M1 Enforcers look pretty damned alien, but their heads look like marital aids designed by HR Giger. But they have the cool gun. Call that a draw I guess.
