Clip 1 is 44MB, clip 2 is 10MB. The clips are 2 minutes and 30 seconds long, respectively. It would help a lot if someone knew how to compress the INSANELY stupid, inefficient and completely useless format that EyeTV exports its movies to. QuickTime Player refuses to acknowledge the existence of an audio track, and that's as far as my experience in video editing goes =)
