He's one of those people who drove Eternal underground, with his put up or shut up attitude. That's the reason I never put down anyone no matter how vaporware their project may seem - mine has seemed that way for ages too. Probably still does. But I know my project has substance to it, just not enough to release as a whole - and I don't know that anyone else's project doesn't.
And also - how many of those "promising" scenarios he listed actually came to light, eh? Not many (or any?) IIRC.
