Only if the Jjaro took the W'rk buried on Earth and imprisoned it in the core. But that would've been after the S'pht were enslaved.

Unless Ian set up multiple timelines, so 2000 in PID is -10^6 in Marathon, but we know he didn't do that, not to mention the Occam's [?Ockham's] Razor violation.
