In Response To: Marathon 1 Net? (K-chi) Yeah, I'm that old. If you are running MacOS 9 or earlier, you can attempt to play Marathon over the Internet using an application called NetLink Remote. It basically tricks your machine into using AppleTalk over a modem connection. It is slow. It is buggy. It is frustrating. It may be impossible to find. But back in the day it was the only way to play over the 'net. I would second the recommendation of M1A1... it plays very much like M1, and internet play in AlephOne is OK (by which I mean, better than NetLink was).
