(i love when i can do that)
the whole thing didn't unfold as planned. the server seems to be brink of death now.
i don't know. the new design appeared to be quite packed with images. i can't exactly say how the old page compared to that but loading times with the new one sure seemed to take their time with dsl. but maybe the server was already impacted at that time.
i noticed a few other things, though. the new design seemed to have problems with certain databases i tried to update my user details and it went all downhill from there. this might have been either cause or effect of the server derailing.
also, i couldn't scroll the page fluently with Firefox and IE 6.0 garbled the design. both of these problems mysteriously disappeared once i had been logged in.
