This is embarrasing, but guess which master secrets finder failed to find the secret on this level? I guess I'll plead boredom - I really didn't care for this level and failed to do the sort of secrets survey that I normally would when attempting a level. If I'd only looked in Forge at the end, I would have been forced to find the way - but I'm not sure I would have smashed that panel in the morgue. I must admit that the level is much, much more rewarding with the southwest area available to explore. Oh well . . . I'm not about to go back and repeat the level on Deathwish, and repeat everything up to End Game, which is where I am now. Except that I seem to have discovered a bug and I'm trapped in End Game with my last prior saved game being Mosh Pit. Don't you hate it when that happens?
