You can only get into E3 itself if you can prove that you work in the game industry. And on top of that it's pretty expensive too. I got free passes courtesy of my game development class last year, and in 2K1 I actually was deveoping something.

But FanFest is not E3 itself, and you don't have to get into E3 to get into FanFest.
