Hmmm... since you're a woman, I think you'd have easiest of us to understand the story in Marathon Infinity. In Infinity you jump a lot between different timelines, and get very easily confused. But since women have more multi-threaded brains than mens more linear way of thinking, if you ever play Infinity, you can explain the whole story to the rest of us ;) Even though Mark did an helluva good job in the Volunteers series, which of course makes me suspicious that it was actually his wife playing for him :P
