Mark - I'm going to let you take the lead on this one. I just sent my PowerBook back to Apple for what is apparently a bad ROM boot block. When I try to boot-up, it beeps at me four times, then flashes the sleep light in sequences of 5 flashes. Good thing I took out that 3 year AppleCare plan - they've already replaced every component in the Ti PB at least once, and now I'm going to get a new logic board for the second time. I probably won't get it back until after I return from a visit to my in-laws next weekend for Passover, by which time you'll be half way through the scenario. Oh well, I'll enjoy reading your posts.
