In Response To: Re: The Big Project That May Never Happen (Adam Ashwell) : Okay, I'll try and explain it to ya: This isn't a conglomeration of dead
My appologies if I offended any sensibilities about this. I sense some defensiveness in your post. Might just be me, but whatever. I was hungry and not making a lot of sense when I posted anyway. By "dead scenarios", I meant mostly what you have described above. Projects that probably won't get finished are effectively "dead", or at least "dying". Unstarted projects aren't really alive yet. Small projects I guess don't count. Point is you get my gist; it's a bunch of little things come together to make a bigger thing. I don't understand, however, how any of these projects can be "a part" of the greater project if it's going to be almost entirely new work. Are you just going to throw away most of the other smaller projects and just use pieces? Or is the new project so incredibly huge - or the other projects so very small - that the other projects together make up a tiny fraction of this new thing? I guess you guys are pretty dead set into doing your new thing and not that interested in collaborating. I feel kinda stupid jumping the gun on publicising Eternal now. Oh well... there it is. I hope you like it. I'm gonna go crawl in a corner and die now... |
