: I have ranked these by frequency of replay. I revisit M1A1 the most, and
: Rubicon second, Infinity next, and then M2... All the rest, I've played
: through once, and maybe played a few levels a second time, and eventually
: deleted (after archiving onto CD) The only other scenario that I have
: played through multiple times is EMR Infinity--Morgana's Revenge, but I
: eventually tired of that, and it's gone as well...
Hmm - in previous polls, M2 has usually come out on top, and you place it last. I think in its day, M2 was the one that blew everyone away. M1 was very, very cool, but M2 really opened things up - sweeping vistas, water and lava you could swim in, ambient sounds and an epic, linear story that everyone could understand. Moo fixed a lot of problems in M2 and toned down the textures a bit, but the story was so complex that very few players had any inkling what was going on the first time through. Overall, the textures in M1 were still the best, however, and neither M2 nor Moo captured the truly alien atmosphere of the Pfhor ship.
It must be kept in mind that Rubicon is a 3rd party scenario, but in spite of its critics, it clearly is the most professional 3rd party scenario out there and IMHO in parts provides the best of all worlds - but then Chris and Scott had several years and a lot of hindsight over Bungie by the time they released it.
