Hm... Actually, no. I would have to say that M1A1 (the Aleph One version of Marathon 1) is my fav, with Rubicon following a close second, and then Infinity, and lastly M2. From there, it's pretty even...
I have ranked these by frequency of replay. I revisit M1A1 the most, and Rubicon second, Infinity next, and then M2... All the rest, I've played through once, and maybe played a few levels a second time, and eventually deleted (after archiving onto CD) The only other scenario that I have played through multiple times is EMR Infinity--Morgana's Revenge, but I eventually tired of that, and it's gone as well...
For me, It's Marathon 1... I keep returning to it, and returning.... Honestly speaking, I like the story line--the mood, and the music plays a big role in that... This has been hashed to pieces in the past, but that's my personal perspective... I'll leave it at that... no dogmatism here. ;-)
P.S. I'm also relatively new to this forum, but ancient in Marathon playing...
