Page five of the Halo manual definitely states that John-117 and his siblings are "cyborg super-soldiers". Genetic engineering is also mentioned. IMO, the SPARTANS are something like Star Trek's Borg or Marathon's Mjolnir Mk. IV: they have robotic/cybernetic components such as bone reinforcements, intelligence enhancing brain circuits, and similar implants. Now fuck off and get yourself a spellchecker. | |
