You my little whining friend is of course... wrong. The other Spartans weren't killed on Reach. The master chief took Linda with him when he left. If you would have read Halo: First Strike you would also know that she is in fact, not dead. Also, several of the other Spartans made it off of Reach since the Covenant never glassed the whole planet. It's funny though that they just happened to be on the right place on Reach. Sorry to spoil the book for you, but it's your own fault for coming on a Marathon forum, responding to a two year old post about something quite unrelated to Marathon.
