: The following link shows that the program does in fact exist (The room in the
: game is pretty small, in the picture the viewer is outside it, and there's
: no collision detection or anything), and also shows use of transparency
: (The text is just to prove you can see behind the room). Don't be scared
: by the Windows-ness of it, I'm planning on moving to SDL very soon.
: BTW, anyone got more ideas for features they'd like?
Looks promising (but I don't really know what I'm looking at:)
Uh, it would be nice if the FPS-rate is something which can be handled by your-average-machine instead of going G5. Is it ment to replace/add-on A0's graphicmodules?
And a request for features? heh, glowmasks/bumpmasks/those wicked dot3masks/particle generators/different modes of transparency/multiple texturemasks/easy to implement in-game changes (like swapping models for different states of the monsters, and uh...
oh oh! It has to do my laundry too! ;p
A biggy would be how to import the different range of 3d-formats. I'm personally very pleased with Meshwork ( http://codenautics.com/meshwork/ ), awesome LOW-poly modeler (and cheap!)
