i used binary, just connected 2 ropes to the phone plug thingy, pulled one of the rope to get 1 and the other one to get 0 ;-)

actually i just used another computer, just like i am doing now. The internet on my other computer is working, but it's a sucky PC *OMG* and it's not fun to use it.
