Welcome to the internet, I see no one has give you the full tour yet.

Out of curiousity I went to Yahoo! and did a search for "halo books". The very first hit to be displayed was "9 new halo books coming" from a post on none other than this forum.

So, every Halo spazeroid that does the same is hopelessly drawn the the tantalizing link promising a total of 10 halo books. They click it, notice it is a forum, notice it is a forum where people have discussed the subject previously, and see no harm in following up with a query of their own.

It's a vicious cycle, really it is.
