Ok, this is a typical example of retarded mapmaking. If you try to go from poly1 to poly3 you'll bounce to poly2. Same if you try to walk from poly2 to poly3 you'll bounce to poly1.

Just split p3 into p3 and p4! Voila, no more bouncing. I'm sure many mapmakers here knew about this. But something for you green noobs to think about :P : Ooooh. Never thought of that scenery thing. I've had some incurable bouncy
