Okay. We finally have an entire passage translated. A note to VidBoi: you might want to put all of this into the documentation so that there's a working example for people trying to learn.
If s show up in there, ignore them. It's just something in the message-board script. And now, all of the new vocabulary (including what I posted last time): K'rl - (prep.) to C'rkth - (n.) milestone, accomplishment C'rkthahrl - (v.) to accomplish K'tra - (n.) star (reclusive, solitary, alone, lonely, lonesome as adj.) L'ar - (n.) freedom L'larhln - (n.) place K'trar - (n.) fight, battle L'oracn - (v.) to send O'won - (n.) to send P'thr - (prep.) on, on top, onto Rac - (prep.) out, forward, forth, up, upwards K'lr - (subj.) Until, up until M'ncal - (v.) to build, create, make Scal - (subj.) so that, in order to (join with following word) Rkna - (adj.) Free S'rhl - (n.) sister, moon S'rknth - (n.) orbit, year F'kcn - (n.) brother, planet T'kal - (adj.) new T'lar - (subj.) for, during, while (for 1,001 orbits...) Tract - Also forgotten, also lost T'ract - Also to forget, also to lose V'ral - (prep.) from K'tacn - (v.) to stop, to rest R'arhl - (v.) to go, to leave 'We were to kill' will be represented by something else. Not thought up yet. Prsent participle: use verb, add 'cthr. Passive participle: Remove all apostraphes. Numbers above 10 are constructed as such: 3456 would be stated like this: four 3s (don't use plural on any of these) and three 4s and two 5s and 6. So... 'lhanr'nrlhah'ctr'kn. (Drop the second 't' in cttr -> ctr.) Sort of confusing, but it works. Just use the number of places away from the decimal to describe the digit, use 'and' between each, and you're good to go. I really haven't had to add much to the grammar yet. I'm sure that I'll get there eventually. Adverbs would probably be a good thing to do... It's all yours VidBoi. Now if only I could get my Powerbook to work... ;.; |
