I see a pair of convicts with onigiri shaped helmets (vaguely reminiscent of Stormtroopers) being distorted by glitches in reality while a large monolithic silhouette in the shape of a similarly warped head with cat ears on top rises on the horizon during what appears to be sunrise.

Probably fellow cult members summoning our god.
