Yes. We spend a lot of time in M2 looking for the final message of the S'pht'Kr and then activating Thoth which all appear to get truncated in Infinity. You could interpret this in either of two ways. A simple story convenience to move the narrative along at a pace or that each timeline can be radically different other than for certain node points which are common to all timelines.
