...I thought about going through and addressing each point, but since you blatantly ignored my warning not to nitpick my theory into oblivion, I don't feel like doing that. It would probably end up going in circles anyway, because we're not examining Infinity's plot via the same or even similar methods.

Not to mention, at this point you're just being flat-out hostile to me, when I tried to deescalate and drop the point I kept harping on. Do you think I appreciate that?

The one thing I will say wrt: points is this:

You skipped over the part where I mentioned factors in sealing the W'rk back up, not the overall theme. "From a thematic standpoint" was just me shifting focus.

And maybe this is something we'll just have to disagree on, but I don't think having any form of guidance somehow completely wrecks the SO's own character arc. It's not like you're being told "go to this point in this timeline and carry out XYZ tasks" in those words.
