I know, right? There might be some vague justification for going after Leela in that she now owns fifteen planets' worth of firepower...but we don't know exactly what sort of person she became after going rampant (I like to think that she's still mostly good).
Tycho may have survived Infinity, which EVIL seems to take place after, but that still leaves the issue of Durandal(/Thoth) not being a threat anymore. The only way any of this could've made sense was if it were implied that going rampant has temporarily scrambled the Security Officer's brain or something--but I think we're supposed to interpret the ending straight. Mrph.
