Gotcha. And re the next point, true the terminals here are possibly a bit too prescriptive, but it might beat out the trilogy's sometimes just ignoring the convoluted puzzles we were supposed to contend with. Having said that, later levels in DiaBD are guilty of that also.

The Mac version of the original Wolfenstein 3d had a map, not live, more like that of Pathways, but still enough that I was confused years later playing Halo and then Destiny, as to why on Earth this basic feature was lacking.

Okay yeah I can see it was a pain to write about, but much of Marathon 1 suffered similarly, and you did most of the series! You were much younger then.
