Rebinding Function keys in Aleph One

Rebinding Function keys in Aleph One

How do i rebind the function keys in Aleph One? F12 is the screenshot key for Steam games and it also works with non steam games launched via the platform, as I did with Marathon.
However, F11 and F12 respectively lower and raise the gamma level so I need to rebind raise gamma to something else so I don't keep needing to change it. Do I need to edit a configuration file or do I need to look at MML ones?
