Nice to read about what was cutting edge at the time, and just awesome when we think that we're still here 22 years later, playing with improved graphics but otherwise much the same experience.
Meanwhile Destiny 2 is still capped at 30fps on console and is reducing to 4v4 PvP where Marathon did 16 players over AppleTalk. Have we really come all that far? I've been on a bit of a rant about the bad decisions made with Destiny; thank goodness we go the best story of all time done and dusted back in the day ... we ARE Destiny.
