: Cool topic and I find this especially interesting. I'm just playing through
: the trilogy yet again, and especially Marathon requires that sort of
: careful play - even just the very first encounter on TC is a real mission,
: no matter how many times I play!
: Then it has those moments throughout that I never look forward to: the last
: part of Bigger Guns Nearby, the first part of Couch Fishing, the pit in
: Cool Fusion, the quarantine part in Blaspheme Quarantine, the start of
: Bob-B-Q, and the chain from Eupfhoria to Ain't Got Time Pfhor This all
: spring to mind. It is definitely the chore of the series. Playing through
: in preparation for actually getting onto that Devil in a Blue Dress Tour
: of Duty that we've delayed on for a year now :D
: Oh and yes, Halo's difficulty is a bit stupid by comparison - I like
: Marathon's method of just making enemies tougher, but dislike it when they
: aim a lot better, hide better, and snipe you without you even knowing they
: are there, and Halo 2 is a prime example of that sort of nonsense. I never
: really played Halo before the Master Chief Collection came out, and now I
: figure I'm too old for that shit lol. I'll stick to Marathon on TC ;)
Not to mention snipers on Legendary are a 1 hit kill. On Heroic, one hit removes your shield, and the second finishes you off so it's a bit fairer.
The Scoring mode of Halo MCC is bugged as well: either after dying and/or reloading too many times or reaching a certain point or after a certain time has passed -I don't know which one it is-, the game stops giving you point for your kills. You still get medals, but every kill of any kind with any weapons gives you exactly 0 points.
You can however, still lose points, which really boils my S'pht.
