...huh; never made that connection 'til now, myself.

I forget: are the Biobus chips given much elaboration in the Trilogy (outside of manuals)? At any rate, maybe the invincibility chips are Jjaro in origin and the pfhor don't use them because, like any other piece of Jjaro tech, they barely know how to.
