I was born twelve days before Marathon's first Anniversary when this site went up. Can't remember if it was before or after Marathon 2: Durandal.

A shame I only had DOS and when I started remembering things, Windows 95 and not a Mac as well which would have been for the sole purpose of playing Bungie's early gems of Minotaur, CD Pathways, CD Marathon 1, and Marathon 2/Infinity.

Glad to have joined eventually. If a had a clear blue potion (which I don't think are made anymore :( , I propose a TOZT to 819, this site and Bungie for PID, Marathon and Halo.

Christmas 2002 was enlivened by Bungie when I first played Halo 1 and Quantum Redshift on my Xbox, followed later on by Halo 2 and 2012 was made brilliant by Bungie again when I played M1A1 and the rest of Marathon through Aleph One for the first time.

I'd add an image hear but I can't think of a really good one.

Perhaps something tangentially related would serve as well as something...

It's badly photo-shopped but that's what comes with not having the software. Not at home anyway.

The Solaris image could be a placeholder for the Jjaro.

Tailmon's there with a Marathon glyph on her leg and a real "Holy Ring" on her tail because she's cute.
