I'm referencing another non-canon source again but the Drinniol planet where you meet the Cyborg hulk in Eternal appears as a tundra planet on the chapter screen even though it is a wet, rocky area in-game like the rocky plateau level in the original ROTT. I thought they might have evolved in sub zero temperatures, probably volcanic due to their flame immunity and their vests provide them with spare nutrients when off world as their home would have plenty of food, sort of like the Unggoy (grunts) in Halo but with food intake instead of methane.
