Has anyone ever thought about a Marathon Con?

I've been thinking about this for a long time. It would be pretty cool to have some sort of a Marathon convention. There's Quake Con, E3, Comic Con and etc. It would be pretty epic to meet up with fellow members of the Marathon community and discuss one of the greatest games in person and to put faces to names and socialize. The only problem would be planning where to meet up and being able to afford some sort of a convention hall to meet up in.

What do you guys think about this idea?
