There is mouse control, isn't there? It's just god awful. Since there's no look up or down, pushing forward on the mouse moves you forward, and pulling back moves you backwards, and IIRC it makes it difficult to click into the inventory window and pause for the more difficult portions of the game where maybe taking a pause and swig of something would be nice mid fight. I have no idea if that's the case for the OS X port though. Learn the keyboard set up. Its not great but every person who'se beaten PID has used those controls. Can't you feel the weight of 20 years of gaming at your back? Alternately you could probably find a game pad or key mapper to do whatever you want, WRT button layouts.
