In Response To: Tour of Duty: Carroll Street Station (Martin)

: The Thoth that operates outside of time calls us back to task Ė what is our
: task? Ahh yes weíre supposed to save the world. But nothing much seems to
: change regardless of our role: we explore Sípht ruins at length, Durandal
: dies and comes back, we activate Thoth but he and Durandal donít merge,
: Thoth calls the SíphtíKr with our help, and all seems well, but apparently
: the trih xeem is launched; we work with Tycho, Durandalís humans fail to
: activate Thoth but Durandal manages to have Kília come back anyway, while
: Tycho threatens to launch the trih xeem; we wake up earlier, wipe out
: Juggernaughts, while Durandal gets a fast start on working with Thoth, and
: I think they merge, but too late. So it seems we have a bit of freedom ...
: again if I turn to Mark Levin, the common line so far has been Durandalís
: victory as a trigger, even when we thought he was dead. So how about
: standing in the way of his victory?

It's funny, I hadn't really thought of the first Tycho timeline being a victory for Durandal, mainly because Tycho seemed so self-certain all the way to the very end, yet in a way I suppose Durandal did win - K'lia returned, and with it, the S'pht'Kr, and with them, certain death for the Pfhor.

Anyways, great write-up! I loved the opening couple paragraphs - very nice style, very humorous and very well-written. I suppose I shall have to learn from that!

Vale,
Perseus
