AFAIK, the audio files in the newest alephone M1 release are the real deal (what they packaged in the tracks folder in previous builds were slightly different). But I never had the M1 CD (and eBay is demanding a fortune for it as a collector's item) so I don't really know. If you open each track in a media player, the artist name is Alexander Seropian, so take that as you may.
