Heh. Already watched it before you even brought it up here. I may have to rewatch it, as it was quite funny. Good point about Rampancy, and dual-wielding does seem much better implemented in Marathon, or better yet, Marathon 2. You can't dual-wield SMGs, of course, but you can certainly turn the Hunter hordes into piles of slimy shells in a matter of seconds with dual Shotguns. And then you have to get ammo - that's the hard part. If Marathon 2 wasn't just handing everything to you on a silver platter weapons-wise and ammo-wise, you'd be sucking on fumes to use your Shotguns - one battle and suddenly you're begging for something to shoot with. Still, with proper care, you can turn Pfhor to Zero. Pfffht! Just like that!
