PiD for Mac 10.6

PiD for Mac 10.6

I am absolutely thrilled by the idea of PiD for Mac OS X. The problem is, I just have OS X 10.6, and as a result, when I go here, a message pops up at the top of the page saying "To download Pathways Into Darkness from the Mac App Store, you need a Mac with OS X 10.6.6 or later." Is this because PiD is incompatible for anything before 10.6.6, or just that the Mac App Store is unfriendly to 10.6? If it's the latter, how can I get PiD easily?
