: Nice way to finish this leg of the Tour and congratulations for taking it
: this far and to Martin for helping out. Hard to believe it was over a year
: ago that you started your Tour and I was berating you for using an old
: version of M1A1. =)

At least we can still berate him for not playing on TC :D. Although he recently mentioned playing through on major damage, so we may be getting to him ;).

Good summary PS. Of course this level is extra stressful on TC, especially as a lot of the dying tends to be in the third ring - the performance of the S'pht seems so variable there, and all too often one gets snuck up on by grenading Troopers ><.

Last playthrough (and every Try again it took) I was more impressed with the invisible S'pht in the first ring than I remember having been in the past. Maybe I was doing my job better, really using that invincibility for what it is worth! Invisible S'pht can be very annoying when they end up in front of you when you are trying to hit the high switches though!

The Durandal terminal really does make it sound like we're not going to see him again. I guess things were very much wrapped up here just in case there was no followup? A better approach than was taken with, for instance, Aquaria, a fantastic indie game that ends "To be continued" but is almost certain not to be. Red Dwarf series six also ran that risk, but they managed to continue many years later even if the quality suffered.

That certainly was not the case with M2/Infinity though, and I look forward to ToD's future. Not to ruin the surprise for anyone or anything, but I believe we were agreed on my covering the following M2 levels, so I will await your intro soon ... really a year to cover M1 ToD? It certainly sped up towards the end :).

Martin is doing:
The Slings & Arrows Of Outrageous Fortune
What About Bob?
Ex Cathedra
Curiouser & Curiouser
The Hard Stuff Rules
Bob's Big Date
Six Thousand Feet Under
For Carnage Apply Within
Begging For Mercy Makes Me Angry
This Side Toward Enemy
Kill Your Television
Feel The Noise

Phew, better get started with writing! I may even get into using screenshots beyond the maps ... but I can't promise it :).
