In Response To: Re: Beta 2 test: Welcome to the Revolution (Godot) : Oh you can get trapped. You just have to explain how. Your cold beer awaits,
After riding the platform up, if you jump off the wrong side, you are trapped inside. Although, it is possible to shoot the switch again and lower the platform. If you have enough shield left, you can then shoot it again, ride the platform up and escape off the correct side. I didn't test it, but I'd be surprised if you can shoot that switch three times on TC and still have enough shield left to escape. On the other hand, if you jump off the wrong side and have no Fusion batteries left, then you *are* trapped. If I recall, you cannot activate that switch with a grenade. Not sure this qualifies as a suicide trap. But if you run out of grenades and fusion batteries before activating one of the two switches that open the doors leading to the final room, then you are trapped on the level. Of course, this would also apply to any level where a high switch has to be activated in order to complete the level. (e.g. Colony Ship...) John
