In Response To: Re: Pathways into High Definition (Godot)

: erm... I'm guessing from the complete lack of replies to your question that
: the answer is... NO.

: As much as I like PID, watching a movie of game play is akin to watching
: paint dry. I am not sure adding "stupid voice commentary" would
: help any.

No, but smart voice commentary might. Talk about things the game makes you think. How is this game similar or different either to its contemporaries or to more modern games. How does it explore themes that are similar to games Bungie did later? What elements of this game's design were kept as the studio moved on from PiD to Marathon, to Myth, and finally to Halo? Do you feel the game stands up today, or not, and why? Which feels more dated, the game's production values, or the gameplay?

: While watching your video I noted that Leyvin360 had recorded a bunch of PID
: levels (with commentary) as part of a Let's Play Series.

Thanks for pointing that out. I'm linking to Bo's video and also Leyvin360's playlist on R.net now.
